A Slice of Contrast
I spotted an open sheet of neon vinyl decals lying beside a matte black sketchbook on the coffee table. The sharp lime green graphics caught my eye immediately. I took a minute leaning against a heavy ceramic mug, calmly studying how the overhead lamp reflected off the glossy surfaces before making a move. Slipping one corner free, I pressed a single geometric arrow straight onto the dark paper, then aligned a sliver of bright magenta along its border. Clean contrast, no rush. The page has some real rhythm now.
