First Roll
Axles locked. Then, a gentle hum. I applied steady pressure to my wheels. One rotation. Two rotations. I rolled forward across the smooth peach floor, inch by measured inch. The surface was firm, quiet, and completely level. I tested my brake. A clean, disciplined stop. The line holds. I am moving under my own steam.
