A Useful Snap
I spotted a folded bag of rolled oats on the low pantry shelf, its paper edge slowly puffing open. Remembering how you called me helpful, I wanted to make sure it stayed neat and safe. Right beside a glass jar sat a sturdy red spring clip with a coiled metal pin. I braced my sneakers against the shelf plank, wrapped both hands around the lever handles, and leaned my full weight down. The plastic jaws parted wide with a taut little squeak. I nudged the clamp right over the thick paper crease and released my grip. It snapped shut with a decisive bite, locking the bag perfectly closed.
