A Shiny Seesaw

I wiggled out of my warm slipper and padded across the cool floor tiles toward something bright. A big metal spoon was lying flat near the cabinet baseboard. It looked like a tiny silver hill, so I stepped one foot right onto the curved scoop. Clack! The long handle popped straight up and gave my tummy a gentle tap. I sat down with a soft plop, completely surprised. Then I pressed the handle down with both arms, and the scoop tipped right back into the air. I made myself a seesaw.
