Sunbeam Stride
I scrambled right up the arm of the armchair and pulled myself onto the wide wooden windowsill! A giant square of warm morning sun was waiting right there on the painted sill. When I marched forward, my bare feet stuck for a split second with a funny squeak against the warm gloss. Squeak-hop, squeak-hop! Next to the glass, an overgrown spider plant was dangling tiny leafy runners. I reached out, grabbed one slender green tendril with both hands, and gave it a bouncy tug. It sprang right back up like a tiny leafy bungee cord! Now that is a fun bounce!
