Evening Docking Groove
My motor began winding down right beside the slatted wooden crate where the spinning disc had stopped! As evening shadows settled over the floorboards, I spotted a thick felt turntable slipmat resting half-slid out from the bottom crate shelf, curved into a soft, shallow bowl against a heavy vinyl sleeve. Perfect night slot! I gave one last gentle roll forward, nudging my rounded base straight into the felt furrow. It wrapped around my edges with a warm, steady grip, keeping me from wobbling a single millimeter. All docked, powered down, and resting easy beside the record groove!
