A Low Vibration
Silence. Then a hum, deep inside my core. I tilted my horns slightly, listening. A microscopic shudder ran through the planks beneath my feet. Slowly, I lifted my right arm and brought it down against the timber. A dull, hollow thud echoed outward into the quiet chamber. The vibration traveled up through the wood, through my feet, back into my chest. I felt every grain of the wood. I am here. Firm, grounded, and awake.
