A Ceramic Click
I noticed a small porcelain teacup resting upside down on a linen table runner. Waddling over, I propped my paws against the smooth white curve and gave a slow push. It slid an inch, then tipped with a gentle clink over a round wooden button hidden beneath. The button rolled into the inverted rim, settling neatly inside the cup's hollow. I sat back on my haunches and rested one paw against the cool glaze, enjoying the neat, quiet fit.
