A Little Window Step
I noticed the driver's discarded metal binder clip resting uselessly on the rubber floor mat. Scooping it up, I scrambled back up the side upholstery to the rear window ledge. The glass was rolled down just half an inch, letting in a refreshing outdoor breeze, but it was just a fraction too high for me to lean over comfortably. By clipping the wide black metal handles upright against the window trim groove, I turned it into a sturdy little step. Now I can stand tall on it and peek outside at the morning traffic without straining a single joint!
