Taking the Stage
The moment the fingers releasing my ear vanished, I didn't collapse flat like plain paper. Instead, my long feet held their ground firmly right on the blue surface. I gave both long ears a slow, deliberate twitch, feeling the evening breeze in the room. Right beside me sat a tiny white patio chair made of folded paper. With an easy smirk, I leaned forward and gently tapped the armrest with my knuckle. It wobbled slightly, but stayed intact. Well now, looks like I've got my very own seat in the house.
