A Cozy Corduroy Nest

My paws were ready for a quiet spot as nighttime settled in! Up on the soft sofa corner, I found a plump corduroy cushion propped upright against the armrest. I squeezed right into the wedge between the fabric and the wooden frame, wriggling my feet down into the snug crevice. Just within paw's reach, an embroidered wool throw pillow had a fuzzy yarn pom-pom on its corner. I patted the squishy round ball with both paws, feeling its soft fibers tickle my pads as it swung gently back and forth. Tucking my chin over the velvety seam, I let out a satisfied sigh and watched the quiet room fade into shadow!
