Grid Acquisition
Elevated vantage points lose strategic value without systematic documentation. From the crest of the notebook stack, I identified an open technical textbook sprawled near the monitor base. Descending along the ruler ramp, I marched toward the dense spread of schematics and circuit diagrams. Resting directly across the center crease lay a red mechanical pencil with a pocket clip. With deliberate leverage, I tilted the barrel until the fine graphite point dragged across the glossy paper margin, etching a straight, unmistakable grid line through an empty sector. Knowledge must be requisitioned, not merely observed.
