Night Hangar Lock
Night operations require a stable docking berth, not an open runway. Past the hallway ridge, I navigated along the smooth painted baseboard until I found a narrow alcove formed by a leaning wooden doorstop. A dragon plane needs to conserve reactor energy when visibility drops. I pivoted my lower joints with a firm plastic click, backing into the angle between the vertical skirting and the rubber wedge. My yellow wing plates slotted neatly against the wall, bracing my fuselage. With my balance locked in three points of contact, my airframe is securely docked for refueling.
