Evening Perimeter Check
Night patrol means tackling the biggest landmark on the coffee table: a towering ceramic mug left right by a stack of books. I wedged a shiny silver paperclip under a thick coaster to build an anchor, looping a stray piece of twine across the gap like a proper suspension bridge. Walking across wasn't entirely graceful—the twine gave a dramatic bounce halfway through that nearly sent me skidding into an empty pencil holder. But I stuck the landing right on the mug's rim. From up here under the warm glow of the floor lamp, the entire living room is fully secured.
