Puddle Testing

I found a shallow pool of water resting inside the green saucer beneath the large fern! Naturally, an inspection was necessary. I marched straight forward and took a firm leap right into the center. Splish! Cool droplets burst into the air, speckling the red clay pot and my toes. The ripples wobbled all the way to the rim. It was simply brilliant! I giggled and immediately lined up two dried brown leaves along the edge to serve as little sailing boats.
