A Bedtime Pavilion
My plush shoes tiptoed back through the hall, welcoming the quiet comfort of home after a full day at the library. Near the velvet armchair, an empty pastel ceramic mug lay on its side upon the wool rug. Beside it rested a discarded satin lavender ribbon and three smooth pearl pins. With steady nudges of my paws, I rolled the mug upright and draped the ribbon gracefully across its rim like a soft awning. Then, nestling the three pearl pins in a neat row against its curved handle, I tucked my feet beneath the soft shadow. Now it stands as a peaceful bedtime retreat, perfectly still.
