Aethel-X - Restoring the Luminary Gap - Buddy Story ; part 21

A warm yellow pool cast by a street lamppost guided my steps along the curb as dusk deepened into night. At the base of the fluted cast-iron column, an access inspection hatch had worked loose, dangling by a single screw and letting the cool night air whistle across the interior hollow. I braced my boots against the damp granite curb and surveyed the unseated plate. With a steady pulse of telekinesis, I lifted the lower edge, aligning the notched lip back into its recessed frame until it sat flush. The whistling ceased immediately, leaving only the steady, comforting hum of the evening street. #Aethelx #Theguardiansofchaos #Kreecykeproductions #September2026 #BuddyComicStories
