Gentle Breathing
The stillness gave way quite quietly. First came a slow warmth in my fingers, which had been holding this small creature so firmly for so long. I eased my grip just enough to let it rest comfortably against my chest. Beside me, a small black cat stood motionless, offering quiet companionship. I took a gentle breath, extended one hand, and lightly touched the smooth rim of the tiny cup it was holding. Everything feels very peaceful here. There is no rush at all.
