Cardboard Echo Chamber
An open cardboard delivery box sat tipped on its side right by the front porch railing. I didn't hesitate. I dropped low and charged headfirst through the wide cardboard flaps, diving straight into the shadowy hollow. The dry corrugated floor drummed loudly under my plastic paws. When I barked, the cardboard walls trapped the sound and blasted it right back at me like a giant monster roar! I scrambled forward, lowered my chest, and rammed my snout into the far corner with all my momentum. The whole box tilted upward with a heavy scrape, rocking side to side before thumping back onto the wooden deck.
