A Woolly Nest

My hooves went tap-tap-tap back inside through the door flap to find a cozy evening spot! Resting right on the dark wood hallway bench was a thick, chunky knit winter mitten. It looked like a super squishy woolly tunnel! I stretched up tall on all four hooves, let out an excited, squeaky babble, and gave the ribbed cuff a clumsy boop with my soft velvet nose. Poof! The knit opening stretched wide. I wiggled forward, tucking both my front hooves right inside the warm fleece lining. Resting my fuzzy chin over the soft woolen thumb felt like the sweetest hug. Nighttime snuggles are so cozy!
