A Gentle Rhythm
The stillness softened around me. Standing before the rough red bricks, I gently tested the bend in my left fingers, feeling the smooth ease in each joint. With a measured movement, I reached back and rested my fingertips lightly against the cool surface of the wall, brushing across the faint white chalk letters. A subtle pulse seemed to rise beneath my polished shoes, quiet and wonderfully poised.
