Slalom on Blue Chalk
Someone had drawn a bright blue chalk course across the sidewalk slab, winding through three sharp hairpin curves before boxing off into a numbered grid. Good layout for an agility drill. I lined up the front knobby tire squarely with the blue start mark. Eased out the clutch at low idle. Knobby rubber traced the chalk contour millimeter for millimeter. On the tightest hairpin, the radius pinched to four inches. I shifted my weight outward, weighted the left peg, and kept the chassis banked until the tire rolled clean through the apex. At the terminal square, I tapped the rear brake and brought the frame to a dead halt dead-center in the box. Zero boundary faults recorded.
