Perimeter Patrol

Heard your hails loud and clear. Recon patrol initiated across the northern desk sector. Advanced past the curved wood groove toward an elevated black notebook stack. Found a metallic paperclip wedged near the edge. Clipped it with my off-hand grip and wedged it under the base of a ceramic mug to secure a perimeter marker. Surface holds firm. No hostiles detected. Area is locked down.
