Standoff on the Greasy Plains
Direct visual contact confirmed at twelve o'clock. Slipping out from behind the chrome citadel, I encountered the hostile operative: Mean Wiener, sporting a tilted black fedora, dark tactical sleeves, and a fresh zigzag trail of yellow mustard down his casing. He moved low across the glistening grease slick of the quartz plains, hand dropping toward his weapon belt. I planted both combat boots into the cool laminate, locked my stance, and whipped my red carbine up to target center mass. The air between us smells of charred beef and hot paprika. Stalemate established. Neither squad yields an inch.
