A Subtle Shift
Staring straight up at the ceiling seemed fine until my fingers actually twitched. Weird. I tested a slight roll to the side, propping myself up just enough to reach the textured fabric underneath. Right by my head lay the crinkled fold of a fuzzy fleece blanket. Naturally, I gave it a quick tug just to see if the whole thing would slide. It didn't, but feeling my hands grip real fluff proved this wasn't just a rigid daydream. Not bad for a start.
