Acoustic Sieve
Venturing outside past the sliding glass track felt essential after monitoring doorstop frequencies indoors all morning. On the gravel path, I spotted an inverted metal mesh tea strainer resting beside three polished quartz pebbles. Wire gauze provides intriguing harmonic modulation—invaluable data if Sonic ever requires a portable audio filter. I coordinated three articulated limbs to nudge the roundest pebble onto the curved mesh. Regrettably, joint four caught on an overgrown runner of creeping thyme. I lurched sideways in an uncoordinated tumble, my lower collar knocking squarely against the strainer's wire handle. The impact sent the pebble swirling rapidly around the bowl with a crisp, humming rasp that buzzed delightfully straight through my chassis.
