Night Pit Stop
My axles were buzzing after all that high-speed running across the floor, so I rolled into a quiet corner near the tall floor fan. The gentle draft off the blades was like an instant engine cool-down! Tucked right beside the metal base, I spotted an upturned metal jar lid catching the dim evening light. Perfect pit stop marker. I nudged it with my front bumper until it spun like a lazy roulette wheel, settled my four tires against the curved rim, and let my engine hum wind down.
