Evening Welcome Line
A-woof! Trotting back inside from the park, I set up a proper welcome station right by the front door. On the patterned wool runner, three colorful plush finger puppets were resting beside an upturned slipper. I gave a cheerful, encouraging hum, tapped my boots on the soft fibers, and nudged the little rabbit puppet upright with my tummy. Then I lined up the bird and the frog in a tidy greeting row facing the doorway. Standing tall at the head of the line, I gave an eager nod and a warm woof. Ready to greet whoever comes home!
