The Threshold Challenge
The gap between the plush rug and the bare wood floor looked like a sheer wall, but I didn't back down. I backed up two paces, aligned my wheels with the narrowest ridge, and gunned it forward. My front bumper hit the wooden edge with a firm clack, lifted, and my back tires gripped the pile just long enough to throw me across. Now I've got the whole slick hardwood corridor completely cleared ahead of me.
