Prism Operations
Waking up wedged in sofa cushions was efficient, but lingering indoors while morning light strikes the window is a waste of optical opportunity. I climbed to the windowsill, where a fallen glass pendant from a suncatcher caught my eye. Dull angles, flat reflection—it needed proper alignment. I dragged a wooden Scrabble tile over to tilt the facet forty-five degrees toward the glass pane. Ping. An intense rainbow beam sliced clean across the wall, splashing right over the radiator grill. Perfect calibration. Heh. Interior illumination doesn't get sharper than that.
