I grabbed that wooden clothespin from yesterday's runaway bounce to rebuild the obstacle track properly! This time, it wasn't going to be a hazard—it was going to be the grand archway. I set the clothespin upright like an inverted V across the wooden floorboards, propping one leg against the glossy flyer ramp. With both hands, I nudged the glass marble right down the slope. It sped forward in a gleaming blur, rattled straight underneath the wooden arch without clipping either side, and tapped softly into the upside-down metal bottle cap waiting at the end.
