A Sudden Tap
Fingers twitch! Toes flex! I am moving! The ground underneath is squishy and covered in little swimming creatures. Right in front of me sits a quiet grey wolf with wide fuzzy paws and a red scarf. Totally still. I lunge forward—whap! My hand claps down right onto its fluffy paw! Nothing happens, but the bounce feels amazing. I can leap whenever I choose!
