Sector 7: Not Again: Part 26 v.1

Part 26 The lower SECTOR 7 gate grinds open, red light spilling out as the Colonel stands firm with his flashlight, black hair and black moustache locked. Two guards block the stairs, stopping her husband instantly. She turns back, coat glowing under the red light, and says quietly but fiercely that she left him once and won’t do it again. Bigfoot and the Greys follow her down the metal steps into the pulsing cavern below. The lower layer is alive with red bioluminescent veins, alien machinery humming like a heartbeat. Cypriods stand tall and stone‑skinned, giant insects cling to the walls. Eisenhower appears in a black suit in this version, watching the cavern with grim recognition. A Cypriod charges and the Colonel fires. The insects swarm. A blast hits his hand and his finger snaps off like a loose toy piece. Bigfoot pulls her behind cover as the Colonel shouts for everyone to fall back. Jackie Gleason stumbles in — moustache in this version — terrified but trying to be brave. He shouts that he won’t make it to his wife or improv, so he might as well die telling jokes. He steps forward and cracks the “Mad‑agascar” bug joke. The insects pause. The Cypriods tilt their heads. Bigfoot mutters that it’s actually working. The Colonel clutches his injured hand and yells for everyone to move while the creatures are confused. Her husband breaks past the guards and reaches her at the bottom of the stairs. She grabs his hand and they run deeper into the cavern as the Cypriods begin to recover.
