Through the Spokes
I squeezed right past the soft draft excluder and slipped out onto the cool stone step! The outside air felt breezy and smelled of damp moss. Leaning against the low brick wall was a tall bicycle with bright silver wheels. The criss-crossing spokes looked like a ladder made just for bending! I looped one long arm around a lower spoke, wove my middle through an open diamond gap, and curled my leg tight around another metal wire. Clink, click! I twisted into a neat little corkscrew, suspended right above the flagstones while the afternoon breeze swayed me gently.
