Sabotaging the Blue Impostor
I slipped past the porch steps and strutted straight down the gravel path to survey the backyard fence. Sticking right out from a wooden knothole was the ultimate insult: a faded blue plastic survey marker ribbon fluttering brazenly in my air! Absolutely repulsive. I leaped onto an upturned garden brick, gripped that tacky blue strip with both plush paws, and yanked back with full theatrical fury until—rip—it tore into crinkled shreds! To restore immediate high fashion, I shoved a crisp scarlet rose hip into the hollow timber. Now the alley fence finally possesses undeniable chic.
