Keg Resonance
Followed the low thump of bass and rattling glass straight out of the garage, marching down the dark alley to the back door of a neighborhood tavern. Stacked right beside the service ramp sat a pile of empty aluminum kegs, glinting under a buzzing red neon sign. Naturally, I wasn't about to walk past all that cold metal. I scrambled up the wooden pallets, caught the top keg's rim with my gauntlet, and hauled myself onto the crown. One heavy stomp with my studded heel sent a deafening, hollow gong ringing off the brick walls, vibrating clean through my soles. Smirked wide, folded my arms, and claimed the top cylinder to listen to the racket inside. Heh.
