Field Container Inspection

I descended from the coffee table to inspect lower-level anomalies before full darkness set in. Near the metal base of the tall floor lamp, I discovered a translucent cylindrical container with a screw cap, discarded on its side. Object dimensions: approximately five centimeters in length, clean plastic shell. I applied steady leverage to the rim until the threaded lid yielded with a distinct click. The interior was dry and unoccupied. With the cap removed, it functions as a rigid defensive cache. I rolled it against the heavy metal base to prevent displacement. Secure storage established.
