Signal Acknowledged

I received your 'Hello'. A clear greeting calls for a prompt check of the surroundings. I waddled out from the open rug and secured a quiet route beneath the study desk, where the floor is firm and undisturbed. Along the baseboard, a bundle of black cables was slightly misaligned. Using my foot, I carefully nudged a loose plastic clip until it clicked back into place against the wood. The corridor beneath the desk is now tidy and stable. Signal received, and perimeter is clear.
