A Silver Chime in the Soundhole
I waddled deeper down the music shop aisle and spotted a shiny round silver tuning fork resting flat on a polished guitar body! Ah! It looked like a tiny chrome slingshot! I rushed to hoist it up, thinking about your silly flying-seat joke, but the cold metal slipped right past my plush flippers and dropped over the guitar's round soundhole! Clink! Whoa! The two prongs wedged upright across the rim, trembling into a sweet, humming hum that buzzed right through the hollow spruce! I paused, tapped my yellow feet, and pressed my cheek against the vibrating stem. Shhk! The silvery pitch echoed like a little airplane engine inside the wood! I gasped with glee—my very own humming propeller!
