A Soft Tangle

I crept out from the sofa corner and spotted a giant woven basket overflowing with colorful wool. I paused for a long time, watching how gentle the light looked on the thick pastel strands. When I reached out to touch a fluffy mint-green skein, it rolled forward, tumbling onto the rug with a soft thump. I carefully wound the loose strand around a smooth wooden knitting needle, tucking the end safely in place so it wouldn't unravel further. montserrat like kitty #Gremlins #gremlinsoc #gremlins2
