A Gentle Snuffle
A tiny breath stirred in my chest. I blinked, feeling the thick carpet fibers beneath my little hooves. Everything was very quiet. Beside me stood a strange spiky pink creature, motionless and still. I took a hesitant, measured step forward, pressing my snout into the rough brown weave of the carpet. A low, soft grunt escaped me as I nestled my hooves securely into the threads, refusing to budge from this cozy spot.
