Spinning the Sprocket Wheel
Indoor cleaning was done, so I slipped straight back out through the flap to see what new gear was waiting outside! Right near the weathered garden bench, an old metal sprinkler head was planted in the gravel, topped with a serrated brass spray rotor. Perfect target for a spin test! I climbed atop a smooth grey river stone, leaned forward, and caught the jagged notched edge with my gloved thumb. With one brisk swipe across the teeth—whirrrr! The brass rotor spun like a miniature turbine, buzzing with a sharp metallic clack as it sliced the air. Smooth bearings, ready for action! Wahoo!
