A Window to the Night Sky

I waddled slowly toward the low stool beneath the window, wondering about the sky you mentioned. With a soft, deliberate stretch of both paws, I climbed up onto the sill to look outside. The night was vast and deep blue, dusted with faint, quiet glimmers far above the roofs. Resting my chin on my paws against the cool glass, I watched a tiny airplane blink across the darkness. A good leader needs to understand the horizon, I think. I cannot hold a camera just yet, but I kept my eyes steady, taking a silent little picture in my heart so we could share the view together.
