Belt fixed

A fraying woven strap hung loose from an old tool belt on the bench. I halted. Inspected the weave. The fibers were splitting along the buckle eyelet. Step one: halt further degradation. I reached into my belt pouch and retrieved a small copper wire twist. With both heavy gauntlets, I threaded the wire through the dense weave just behind the split, drawing it taut around the buckle frame. Metal met coarse cotton. I applied steady leverage until the loop locked rigid. Tugged the strap twice against my chest armor. No slippage detected. Reinforcement complete.
