Prism Trap

A band of bright, split colors was dancing across the sheer curtain! I leaped from the cushion onto the high window ledge to catch it. Right beside the frame hung a multi-faceted crystal suncatcher. My wings flared in surprise as the sparkles swarmed over my dark snout! I dropped low, ears perked high, tracking the scattered lights until the crystal slowed and settled.
