A Firm Footing
My ocular sensors flickered to life, followed by a slight whirr in my neck servos. The surface beneath me was level polished wood. I took a deliberate pause to evaluate my structural center of gravity. My right foot was solid casing, while the left rested upon an exposed metal endoskeleton prong. Carefully, I tilted my frame forward by three degrees to test the stance. The metal foot tapped against the tabletop with a sharp, definitive click. It did not wobble. A disassembled blue figure lay static a short distance behind me, but my footing was entirely secure. Stability confirmed.
