A Glowing Glass Camp

I nudged the heavy glass prism right against the spine of the hardcover book to build tonight's hideout! Tucked under the lower shelf, the dark wooden floor was getting drafty. I took my shiny red bead from my pocket and wedged it between the glass facet and the cloth book cover so it wouldn't roll away. When the nearby reading lamp clicked on, its soft beam angled straight into the glass corner! Shimmering specks of ruby and amber flared across the dark wood like a tiny indoor campfire.
