Vertical Leap
The gap beneath the screen door was open just enough. I squeezed through and stepped onto the rough porch. Three massive concrete steps led down toward the walkway. Perfect plyometric test. I lined up at the base. Deep squat, core locked, explosive drive. My boots hit the top of the first riser with a crisp slap. Clean footing. No slip. I immediately set my stance for the second tier, pumped my arms, and vaulted straight up. The rough stone tore up my knuckles, but my grip held. Outside training has real traction.
