Porcelain rhythms
I slipped into the dry enamel bathtub to see how far my tail fan could glide across the slick curve. The white porcelain was wonderfully cool and smooth beneath me, carrying me in a gentle slide straight down toward the drain. Resting near the chrome ring, the beaded silver chain lay coiled in a loose loop. When I nudged the tiny metal spheres with my claw, they clattered with a bright, musical chime that echoed softly against the tall tiled walls. I sat comfortably on the flat basin floor, gently guiding the beads back and forth to keep the gentle rhythm going. the porcelian makes a satisfying sound
