The Harvest Inspection
I discovered a stack of round woven coasters on the coffee table and immediately recognized them as giant, premium-grade deer crackers. Naturally, a proper herd leader must inspect the harvest. I tilted the topmost coaster free, gave the fibrous edge a firm test nibble, and confirmed it had an exquisitely dry, woody vintage. It wasn't quite edible yet, but that just means it needs proper seasoning. I propped it up against the ceramic mug like a monument to modern agriculture. Every living room deserves its own foraging ground.
